ONLINE CHALLENGE

Play against random opponents from around the World.
Both players play under the same conditions:
  • 60 seconds
  • same theme
  • same layout
Scoring
  • 20 points for each pair
  • bonus points for combo move (find pairs in a row): each new pair adds 50% more points
  • bonus time points: 10 points for every second left
  • negative points: if you open a card more than once, each additional open gets you squared negative points (-1,-2,-4,-16...)
Items
You can use two items to help you during the game:
  • Time token - get additional five seconds (only one per game)
  • Find pair token - gives you a hint about the second card (only two per game)
Opponent
If you finish the game and there is no opponent yet, you can play more online games. The first player to play "Online challenge" will be your opponent. You can always hit "Refresh" or return later to check your games.

LEADERBOARD

The game features global leaderboard with scoring system based on ELO rating (like in chess).
If you win better ranked opponents, more points you'll get, and inversely, if you lose from bad ranked opponents, more points you'll lose.


PROFILE

View your win/loss ratio, your rank on the leaderboard and your ELO rating.

The ELO rating system is a method for calculating the relative skill levels of players in competitor-versus-competitor games such as chess. A player's ELO rating is represented by a number, which increases or decreases based upon the outcome of games between rated players. After every game, the winning player takes points from the losing one. The total number of points gained or lost after a game is determined by the difference between the ratings of the winner and loser. In a game between a high-rated player and a low-rated player, the high-rated player is expected to score more points. If the high-rated player wins, only a few rating points will be taken from the low-rated player. However, if the lower rated player scores an upset win, many rating points will be transferred.
